Miss Cheri

Cheri Gorin(Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater Instructor)

Cheri has received dance and voice training throughout the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, and New York City, from many schools including the prestigious American Ballet Theater, Broadway Dance Center, The Joffrey Ballet, Steps on Broadway, and the Ballet Studio. She has also had the opportunity to study jazz technique from the King of Jazz, Luigi. She has received voice training for the past 15 years, and is completing her degree in Music with a focus in Voice Performance at CSU Long Beach. Cheri has been teaching dance in Hemet for over six years, and has provided training and choreography for performances in a variety of styles of dance and theater. She has performed in numerous musical theater and dance productions, including playing the roles of Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Tuptim and Topsy in The King and I, Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Fastrada in Pippin, the Queen in Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods. She placed 1st runner up at the Miss CA Pageant for the Miss America Scholarship Organization in 2007, and preliminary talent, evening gown and swimsuit winner.  She enjoys passing on her dance and musical knowledge, and believes in the philosophy that every performer can always improve and continue to grow with every day and every experience.  She and Paul are very excited about their first baby, Brayden, who was born on August 31, 2008!  They would like to thank all of the studio families who have been extremely supportive in helping them prepare for their new addition to their family.
